About the position

The Airport Concierge position at Alliance Ground International involves providing personalized concierge services to travelers at various airports in the United States and Canada. The role focuses on ensuring a positive client experience by assisting with airport processes, including check-in, baggage handling, and navigating airport amenities. The Concierge Agent is expected to deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse clientele, including executives, families, and celebrities, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients curbside upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
  • Stay with clients until they are safely onboard their flight.
  • Greet arriving clients at the gate and assist with luggage collection.
  • Ensure clients connect with their appropriate ground transportation.
  • Assist with check-in and ticketing processes.
  • Help clients with baggage collection or drop-off.
  • Assist clients with connecting flights as needed.
  • Provide knowledge of the airport layout to assist clients in navigating the airport.
  • Arrange for pre-boarding flights as necessary.
  • Communicate with the Guest Experience Center (GEC).
  • Develop and maintain professional rapport with regulating agencies and airlines.
  • Exhibit confidentiality with clients and their information.
  • Maintain strict adherence to escorting protocol within the airport.
  • Utilize Airport Butler systems to manage service details and communicate with clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current authorization to work in the US and a valid driver's license.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with Android 5+ or Apple 11+ and willingness to download required apps.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to conform to company uniform and grooming standards.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • High proficiency in computer and smartphone skills, including applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating and procedural manuals.
  • Experience delivering luxury/VIP services or airport/airline hospitality (2 years required).
