About the position

The Airport Operations Services Coordinator at Denver International Airport is responsible for ensuring compliance with aviation and city contract policies while coordinating various operational projects and maintenance activities. This role involves managing contractor performance, conducting inspections, and providing support to project managers and supervisors. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractors comply with aviation and city contract policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate contract preparation, tracking, metrics reports, and pre-bid conferences.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee airside/landside facility operations in accordance with airport regulations.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure contract standards are met and direct necessary corrections.
  • Train contractors and airport staff on janitorial activities and best practices.
  • Respond to public complaints and provide assistance to passengers.
  • Conduct inventory and audits of supplies and equipment for contractor performance.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to address deficiencies and ensure service continuity.
  • Maintain and manage metric reports and required contract documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of administrative or technical support experience evaluating contracts for compliance.
  • Experience working with vendors to assess key performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience with Maximo or a Contract Management system.
  • Ability to analyze and handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of experience reviewing and evaluating contracts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with project managers and contractors on program requirements.
