About the position
ABM is seeking a dedicated Airport Security Guard to join our team at the Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the airport premises. The Airport Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by preventing unauthorized access and managing the flow of curbside traffic and exit doors. The role requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will be part of a team that prioritizes safety and customer service, ensuring that all airport operations run smoothly and securely. The Airport Security Guard will work various shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and overnight hours. The shifts available are from 4 AM to 12:30 PM, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, 12 PM to 8:30 PM, 3:30 PM to 12 AM, and 12 AM to 8:30 AM. This is a full-time position that includes weekend work, with at least one closing shift required each week. Additionally, guards may be scheduled to work on weekends and holidays as needed, with overtime pay at time and a half for Sundays and observed holidays. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $15 to $16, depending on the applicant's experience, skills, and geographic location.
