About The Position
The position involves performing duties related to security compliance and enforcement, aviation security, physical security, and access control. This includes responsibilities such as CCTV monitoring, incident management, training, customer service, and compliance inspections of airport premises, vendors, and stakeholders. The role serves as the 'customer facing' arm of the security compliance and enforcement team, balancing the security requirements of the TSA with the customer service initiatives of the airport. Additionally, the position acts as the lead shift representative, managing junior staff on all airport security duties, which includes scheduling, work assignment, oversight, and staff mentoring.
