About the position

The Senior Manager of Information Systems, Enterprise Systems and Applications (ESA) at Harry Reid International Airport plays a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and overseeing IT development and operations. This position is responsible for managing specialized teams in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Enterprise Systems, and Application Development, ensuring effective resource allocation and professional service delivery throughout the Department of Aviation. The role requires independent judgment in policy development, budget oversight, and operational effectiveness, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple divisions/programs within the Information Systems department.
• Oversee the work of specialized teams in GIS, Enterprise Systems, and Application Development.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the department.
• Manage budgetary development and oversight for assigned areas.
• Ensure overall effectiveness and efficiency of operations within the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Five years of full-time related professional experience in an airport or similar setting, with two years at a supervisory level.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of appointment.
