About the position

Supervise, plan and coordinate airport maintenance activities and operations within the Aviation Department; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public and provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to the Airport Facilities Manager. Responsibilities

• Supervise airport maintenance activities and operations.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities within the Aviation Department.
• Coordinate activities with other divisions and outside agencies.
• Provide staff assistance to the Airport Facilities Manager.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in building construction or construction management.
• Five (5) years of building or facility maintenance experience.
• One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Possession of a New Mexico Driver's License or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.
• Ability to qualify for and maintain a Sunport Access Control Card as per Aviation Department and TSA guidelines.
• Successful completion of a security background check conducted by U.S. Customs & Border Protection, if applicable.
