About the position

You will be the Airworthiness Engineer for the Fighter Airworthiness Team. As the Airworthiness Engineer your responsibilities will include supporting business needs and enabling innovation and increased efficiencies within the E&T organization, management of Airworthiness artifacts and data requirements to support Airworthiness cycles for development test, production, and sustainment/retrofits, and ensuring data integrity of artifacts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Airworthiness certification experience
  • Experience with MIL-HDBK-516 criteria
  • Experience multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and frequent status reporting to management
  • Strong organization and coordination skills with high attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
