About the position

The Aisles Online Service Manager at Hy-Vee is responsible for assisting in the management of daily operations within the Aisles Online department. This role focuses on directing labor, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment. The manager will supervise employees, handle customer relations, and ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to company policies and store guidelines.
  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
  • Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service to customers.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and creates a friendly atmosphere.
  • Provides prompt and efficient customer service, treating customers with care and concern.
  • Greets employees in a friendly manner and learns customers' names.
  • Assists in customer relations and handles complaints as needed.
  • Supervises and directs the work of all employees.
  • Organizes and plans labor usage for efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintains in-house quality control including cleaning and handling of equipment.
  • Communicates with supervisors regarding labor needs and delivery issues.
  • Responds to questions and issues from employees and customers.
  • Attends and participates in meetings.
  • Maintains employee records and documents interactions.
  • Trains new employees and completes performance reviews.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of similar or related job experience preferred.
  • Supervising experience.
