The Aisles Online Shopper plays a crucial role in ensuring that our online shoppers receive the best products available. This position is responsible for accurately selecting groceries ordered online by our customers, ensuring that they receive high-quality items that meet their expectations. The Aisles Online Shopper must exhibit a growth mindset, be results-oriented, and maintain a customer-focused approach in all interactions. This role requires professionalism and accountability, as the shopper will be interacting with customers and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. The primary duties include providing friendly customer service, greeting customers, and assisting them in locating products. The Aisles Online Shopper will also be responsible for selecting the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products, ensuring that all items are scanned and bagged correctly. Adherence to company policies and store guidelines is essential, as is the ability to report to work on time and as scheduled. The role may also involve tendering customer orders through the POS system and ensuring that products are stored at the proper temperature until they are picked up by customers. In addition to these responsibilities, the Aisles Online Shopper must be able to lift and carry groceries, monitor incoming online orders, and perform other job-related duties as required. This position is vital to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers and ensuring that they receive their orders accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
• Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible.
• Assists customers by escorting them to the products they are looking for, securing products that are out of reach, and loading or unloading heavy items.
• Makes note of and passes along customer suggestions or requests, performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience.
• Answers the telephone and emails promptly, providing friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
• Accurately selects groceries ordered online by customers, selecting the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
• Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones, adhering to company policies and individual store guidelines.
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time, ensuring products maintain proper temperature throughout the entire process.
• Tenders customer orders through POS and charges the customer's credit card, placing gathered orders in storage at the proper temperature.
• Lifts, carries, and loads groceries into customer vehicles, continually monitoring incoming online orders for prompt fulfillment.
• Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
