About the position

The AIT Supervisor position at General Dynamics Information Technology involves overseeing waterfront shipboard construction and re-modernization projects on U.S. Naval ships. The role requires managing project tasks, supervising production activities, and providing technical and operational leadership. The supervisor will ensure quality assurance of project deliverables and maintain communication with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.
• Supervise the activities of employees involved in production, assembly, or fabrication operations.
• Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects or tasks.
• Participate in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules, and administrative reporting.
• Conduct planning and provide recommendations to clients on task workload.
• Coordinate risk tracking processes and attend customer meetings as a client liaison.
• Ensure quality assurance of project deliverables and maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience in project supervision and management.
• US Citizenship required.
