About the position

The Business Development Manager at Alibaba Cloud is responsible for establishing customer relationships and expanding business opportunities within the US and Canadian markets. This role involves understanding customer needs, delivering product and technological value, promoting decision-making, and providing comprehensive business support to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively gain insights into key industries in US and Canadian markets and identify potential customers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and promote Alibaba Cloud's offerings.
  • Deliver product and technological value by explaining Alibaba Cloud's solutions and competitive advantages to customers.
  • Promote quick decision-making and continuous use of Alibaba Cloud products through effective resource integration.
  • Provide full lifecycle support to customers, ensuring project success and resolving any product usage issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of field sales and/or account management experience in IT and digital transformation technology sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including presentation and public speaking.
  • Strong engagement experience with national or regional business communities.
  • Experience with partnership and alliance programs in IT and technology sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to manage change and resolve conflicts within teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range between $127,000 and $208,000 per year based on experience and market location.
