About the position

The ALIS Site Activation Network Engineer - Level 4 at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is responsible for providing technical support to the F-35 Logistics Information System (LIS) Site Activation team. This role involves ensuring interoperability and supporting site activation processes for F-35 customer sites, both domestically and internationally. The position requires extensive travel and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network systems, and information security.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the F-35 Logistics Information System Site Activation team.
• Engage in the design and sustainment of global F-35 site activations with a focus on network interoperability.
• Contribute to the LIS Site Activation team supporting contract scope.
• Provide technical guidance for systems schematics, network diagrams, and program documentation.
• Interact with LM site activation teams and Joint Program Office representatives for hardware installations.
• Perform network infrastructure site surveys at customer sites.
• Generate and review system documentation including network diagrams and electrical specifications.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for program equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to clients regarding LM/GFE workstations and network equipment.
• Monitor LM Commercial Circuits supporting US Government and international partner systems.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise-level Networking Systems.
• Experience leading a project team or team of employees.
• Ability to travel, both domestic and international.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience.
• Ability to create detailed schematics for systems and network architecture.
• Experience with US Navy Shipboard Systems and legacy systems.
• CompTIA Network+ Certification.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Cisco CCNA Certification.
• Visio Experience.
• Prior experience in F-35 or 5th Generation Fighter aircraft operating environment.
