About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves performing both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain and enhance the efficiency of industrial machinery. The position is open to entry-level candidates and offers training opportunities in robotics and PLC, along with a competitive pay structure and full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Perform 50% electrical and 50% mechanical troubleshooting on systems such as 480V 3-phase, 120V single-phase, and 24V DC/AC.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on 13 injection molding machines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air compressors, water pumps, and switch gears.
• Engage in minimal welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Use radio communication to troubleshoot secondary auxiliary equipment effectively.
• Manage work orders and inventory through Windsor Mold software for organized maintenance operations.
• Occasionally perform robot end-of-arm changes and program adjustments to enhance automation.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance or preventative maintenance experience with some schooling.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• 2+ years of 480V experience.
• 2+ years of 3-phase experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience troubleshooting injection molding presses and reading schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• MIG or stick welding/fabrication experience.

Nice-to-haves

• PLC troubleshooting experience.
