About the position

The Alpha Implementation Manager at State Street is responsible for leading client implementations of the Alpha front-to-back servicing platform. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously, and a deep understanding of investment management operations. The successful candidate will oversee the entire implementation process, from solution design to post-go-live support, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the client solution design, conversion approach, implementation plan, go-live, and post-go-live activities for converting clients onto State Street's Front to Back servicing platform.
  • Define services, service level agreements, and manage change control items with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to share approaches, develop best practices, and improve team capabilities for client migration.
  • Coordinate with a Model Office environment for internal and external testing and POC purposes.
  • Organize and conduct implementation project status meetings, communicating status to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Support the delivery of cross-operations, high priority projects across all project phases.
  • Support business analysis and requirements definition, tracking client feedback and incorporating it into the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with Business, Data, and Solution Architecture to ensure alignment with strategic goals and key business decisions.
  • Leverage business analysis frameworks to develop an integrated view of the business and drive strategic alignment across product, platform, operational, and service areas.
  • Assess and streamline processes with Global Delivery business units to mitigate risk, cost, or service issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment operations, project management, client implementation, and/or business analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Investment Management Operations processes, technology, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in interactions with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, including process analysis and project management skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive knowledge of State Street platforms including Alpha, Charles River, RKS (Internal Candidates only).
  • Experience integrating with other industry software providers to promote platform interoperability.
  • Prior experience leading large scale client conversions and onboarding efforts in the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of products and processes related to the financial services industry.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $207,500 annually.
  • Flexible working hours, including potential for weekend work and extended hours as needed.
