About the position

The Associate II role at Alpha Services involves supporting middle office services and processing by interfacing with various State Street teams and clients. The position requires acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for client issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution of escalations while managing multiple client relationships. This role is crucial for maintaining superior client satisfaction and facilitating effective communication between internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple external client/investment manager relationships.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of assigned accounts to ensure superior client satisfaction.
  • Act as an advocate for clients and resolve client issues satisfactorily.
  • Proactively identify client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to drive execution of initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between Client Service Operations and other business units.
  • Keep senior management informed of new developments, service issues, and business opportunities.
  • Provide project management support for client-related initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between business units to ensure successful implementation of service deliverables.
  • Manage internal and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
  • 0-2 years related industry experience including operational experience.
  • Working knowledge of Domestic and International financials and all related instruments.
  • Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, balance workload, and work in a deadline-oriented position.
  • Ability to meet aggressive SLA deadlines.
  • Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications.
