About the position
The Alpha Portfolio Services Associate II role at State Street involves supporting middle office services and processing while interfacing with various teams to ensure client satisfaction and effective communication. The position requires managing client relationships, resolving issues, and acting as a subject matter expert in middle office operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple external client/investment manager relationships.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of assigned accounts to ensure superior client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
- Facilitate communication between Client Service Operations and other business units.
- Provide project management support for client-related initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business units to ensure successful implementation of service deliverables.
- Keep senior management informed of new developments, service issues, and new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
- 0-2 years related industry experience including operational experience.
- Working knowledge of Domestic and International financials and all related instruments.
- Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, balance workload, and work in a deadline-oriented position.
- Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications.
