About the position
As a Merchandiser at Altar'd State, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting and engaging shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the store is visually appealing and that merchandise is displayed in a way that maximizes sales. This includes maintaining the store's aesthetic, organizing product displays, and ensuring that all merchandise is stocked and readily available for customers. You will work closely with the management team to implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's identity and seasonal promotions. In addition to visual merchandising, you will also be responsible for inventory management. This involves tracking stock levels, assisting with inventory counts, and ensuring that all products are accurately represented in the store. You will need to be detail-oriented and proactive in identifying any discrepancies in inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work alongside other team members to create a positive shopping environment. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring that they have a pleasant shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team will be essential to your success in this position.
