About the position

The Alternate Delivery Program Manager is responsible for managing Alternative Delivery Projects in various stages of the project lifecycle, including pre-procurement, procurement, implementation, and maintenance. This role requires strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as it involves direct interaction with TxDOT ALD staff and leadership. The position focuses on large-scale transportation projects utilizing the Design Build method, with project values ranging from $250M to $4B across Texas.

Responsibilities

• Working on Pre-procurement and Procurement phases of a project's lifecycle.
• Reviewing Design Build Project Management Plans.
• Providing programmatic recommendations and training on the implementation of Design Build projects.
• Managing a Project Management task.
• Direct coordination with ALD staff.
• Coordinating project schedule and budget.
• Reporting project status to ALD.
• Teaching staff about Design Build delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of related experience in related projects.
• Professional Engineer License.
• Experience with Design Build Transportation projects.
• Strong communication skills.
