Aluminum Extrusion Supervisor

About the position

The Aluminum Extrusion Supervisor will oversee the extrusion process in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safe work practices and efficient operations. This role involves supervising extrusion line employees and collaborating with various departments including engineering, warehouse production, and quality assurance. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining documentation related to repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise extrusion process and extrusion line employees.
• Interface with Extrusion and Paint Line Employees, engineering, warehouse production, and packaging supervisors, and QA/QC personnel.
• Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment.
• Verify and ensure documentation of all repair records and preventive maintenance records.
• Log all filters and replacement parts used in the extrusion process.
• Work additional hours as needed.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of Aluminum Extrusion experience.
• 2 or more years of Supervisory experience.
