About the position

The Alumni & Donor Operations Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Engagement and Annual Giving Programs (EAGP) at Washington University in St. Louis. This position is responsible for fostering strong connections between the university and its community, including alumni, donors, parents, and students. The coordinator will manage inquiries, provide support, and ensure effective communication across various channels, contributing to the university's philanthropic efforts and overall mission.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple inbound communication channels for EAGP.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries received through email and phone into the Alumni Association and Annual Fund inboxes and phone lines.
  • Proactively manage and respond to inquiries, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Triage complex questions and requests, escalating as needed to appropriate colleagues throughout University Advancement.
  • Communicate on behalf of senior leaders in EAGP through written and verbal communication channels.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential gifts and records management transactions with integrity.
  • Generate reports on inquiry trends and present findings to senior management as requested.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with university colleagues to provide comprehensive support to constituents.
  • Tactfully acknowledge and resolve constituent complaints.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Relevant experience of 3 years in a similar role.
