About the position
The Maintenance Runner at KnitWell Group plays a vital role in supporting the distribution center's operations by ensuring the efficient movement of merchandise. This position involves operating advanced technology systems and addressing any operational issues that arise, making it essential for maintaining smooth throughput in the distribution process. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn about robotics technology, and possess a strong sense of urgency in their work.
Responsibilities
- Operation of ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) and DMS (Dematic Multi-Shuttle) (70%)
- Correcting EMS Faulted locations list (daily) (10%)
- Climbing up to 32 Levels
- Correcting Bin Sensor Faulted locations list (10%)
- Addressing conveyor jams and monitoring product flow of receiving (5%)
- Maintenance Technician backup support (5%)
Requirements
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position to include standing or walking for the duration of the shift, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Sense of urgency is critical.
- Curious and open to learn.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment when handling multiple competing priorities.
- Good verbal communication skills.
