Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize robotic programs for metal forming processes using proprietary software.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to understand project specifications and translate them into effective robotic programs.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure accuracy and reliability in metal forming operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Document programming methodologies, updates, and system changes for future reference and compliance.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on robotic operations and maintenance.
- Stay informed about advancements in robotics, automation technologies, and metal forming techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in programming robots for manufacturing applications, particularly in metal forming or fabrication.
- Strong understanding of robotic systems, sensors, and industrial automation principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
