About The Position
As an Amazon Delivery Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role is crucial in ensuring that every Amazon order reaches its destination on time, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction that Amazon is known for. You will be working with an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), which is an independent business that collaborates with Amazon to handle deliveries. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on teamwork and enthusiasm for the job. Your primary responsibility will be to safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle, which will be provided by the company. You will be expected to use a handheld device for routing and customer delivery information, ensuring that you are well-informed about your delivery schedule. The job requires you to be comfortable driving in various weather conditions and handling packages of varying sizes. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading packages, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. The expected working hours for this position are approximately from 10:45 AM to 8:45 PM, with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours per day. The role requires availability for shifts 7 days a week, with a specific focus on weekends.
