About the position
As an Amazon DSP NON-DOT Delivery Driver, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering packages to customers in your community. This role involves driving an Amazon-branded vehicle and requires you to stay active while working independently. You will be part of a motivated team that ensures the safe and timely delivery of Amazon packages. The position offers flexibility with shifts available seven days a week, allowing you to work between 3 to 5 days per week, with the potential for up to 10 hours of work each day. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy being on the move and interacting with customers in a professional and positive manner. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering 200 or more packages daily, which can range from small envelopes to larger boxes weighing up to 50lbs. The job requires maintaining a safe driving record and adhering to all traffic laws while driving in accordance with weather and road conditions. You will also have the opportunity to engage with customers and the public, ensuring a positive delivery experience. The position may offer various career advancement opportunities, including roles such as Trainer, Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, and HR Operations Manager, depending on the specific Delivery Service Partner (DSP) you work with.
Responsibilities
- Drive an Amazon-branded vehicle to deliver packages to customers.
- Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
- Deliver 200 or more packages ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
- Maintain a safe driving record and obey all applicable traffic laws.
- Drive in accordance with weather and road conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (non CDL driver's license okay).
- Maintain a safe driving record.
