About the position

The Amazon DSP Specialist position at Mars United Commerce is an entry-level to mid-entry level role focused on programmatic display advertising, primarily utilizing the Amazon Demand-Side Platform (DSP). The specialist will be responsible for the hands-on setup, management, and optimization of advertising campaigns, ensuring effective communication with the Activation team and providing detailed reporting on campaign performance. This role emphasizes proactive communication and collaboration within a remote work environment, while also managing budgets and client-facing documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns on the Amazon DSP platform.
  • Develop a clear understanding of campaign setup, performance, and reporting structure.
  • Communicate performance expectations with the Activation team.
  • Create reports and presentations highlighting campaign setup and final plans as directed by the manager.
  • Proactively communicate with the Manager and Director regarding campaign progress and updates.
  • Supervise management of budgets and ensure accuracy in client-facing documents.

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical skills and a love for math.
  • A degree in finance, math, or IT is a plus.
  • Robust spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including basic and advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively to manage timelines and deliverables.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Amazon DSP or other self-serve DSPs such as The Trade Desk or DV360.
  • Familiarity with retail media networks like Citrus Ad, Criteo, Quotient, Promote IQ, Pacvue, Instacart, etc.
  • Knowledge of verification software (MOAT preferred), Google Ads, and Google Campaign Manager.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to listen and learn.
