About the position

As a Customer Service Associate at Amazon Locker+, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team that ensures the seamless return and pickup of packages for our customers at various retail locations. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and are adaptable to the dynamic nature of the retail environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their orders, ensuring that their experience is not only efficient but also enjoyable. You will engage with customers personally, creating a positive atmosphere even in brief interactions. The position requires you to work in designated retail locations, which may include Whole Foods Markets, partner retailers, or standalone Locker+ sites, where you will facilitate the delivery and return processes for customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing items for delivery. You will assist customers with any inquiries they may have and navigate problem-solving scenarios to enhance their experience. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace is crucial, as is managing the responsibilities associated with a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site. You will utilize technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, and you will also be involved in receiving truck deliveries. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, with shifts lasting up to five hours. You will need to be comfortable using carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move items, and you may be required to navigate stairs depending on the location. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as you will be expected to work part-time hours between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with varying schedules each week.
