About the position

The Electrical Engineer Co-op position at Amazon Robotics is designed for students pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field. This full-time, 6-month co-op role will take place from January to June 2025, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in system design, implementation, and manufacturing processes within a cutting-edge robotics environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation, contributing to the development of advanced robotic technologies that enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist an interdisciplinary team of engineers in the execution of product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.
• Assist in the architecture, design, and implementation of complex circuit designs.
• Conduct research and learn new technologies related to electrical engineering.
• Create schematic designs, perform circuit analysis, and develop test procedures and reports.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• At least one semester remaining of school after the completion of the co-op.
• Classroom and project experience in electrical and/or system level design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in a similar field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with circuit analysis and creating schematic designs.
• Interest in robotic technology and automation.
