Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and self-motivated intern to assist with the development and testing of our hardware products. This internship is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are inspired by invention and enjoy problem-solving through teamwork. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to hardware engineering. This position will report to the Amazon Robotics functional manager most closely aligned with the candidate's skillset. Internships at Amazon are full-time, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week for 12 or more consecutive weeks, with start dates between May and June 2025. The internship locations include our offices in the Great Boston Area (North Reading, MA and Westborough, MA) and Seattle, WA. Interns will work closely with a team of other interns and Amazon Robotics engineers to complete project tasks, utilize Amazon Robotics engineering tools and processes, prototype and test concepts or features, track progress of task deliverables, develop and maintain design documentation, and present information to managers and engineers. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects that will transform customer experiences. Interns will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical setting, gaining valuable experience in the field of mechanical engineering while working on cutting-edge robotics technology.
