About the position
As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the logistics process by sorting, scanning, and stacking packages to prepare customer orders for delivery. This part-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to choose shifts that best fit your lifestyle while working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort inventory
- Get customer orders ready for delivery
- Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
