About the position

The Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the logistics chain by sorting, scanning, and stacking packages to prepare customer orders for delivery. This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing associates to choose shifts that best fit their lifestyle while working in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort inventory
• Get customer orders ready for delivery
• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
