About the position
The Amazon Warehouse Worker position involves being part of a dedicated team at an Amazon Sortation Center, where the primary responsibility is to sort, scan, and stack packages to prepare customer orders for delivery. This role is fast-paced and physical, with flexible scheduling options available to accommodate various lifestyles.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort inventory
- Get customer orders ready for delivery
- Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (when applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (when applicable)
Requirements
- Candidates must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
