About the position

The Ambetter Product Manager for Commercial Products at Centene Corporation is responsible for the successful execution, maintenance, and improvement of specific healthcare products. This role involves managing product performance, resolving operational issues, and developing strategies for future product enhancements. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product value and performance are maximized, while also serving as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful execution, maintenance, and improvement of Centene's products.
• Manage a specific product and support issues that arise in the current plan year.
• Drive execution of the strategy to implementation with a cross-functional team.
• Own and drive resolution for in-year issues identified where the product is not operating/performing as expected.
• Support definition and execution of product roadmaps.
• Track performance of the individual product assigned and collaborate with cross-functional partners to mitigate performance risks.
• Serve as subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders on products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing healthcare products and/or managed care.
• Experience driving product implementations and managing product operational performance.
• Product strategy experience is preferred.
• Experience with business cases and launching a product is preferred.
• Experience making presentations to senior leadership is preferred.
