About the position
We are seeking an ambitious and skilled video editor to join our team for editing basketball videos. The role involves crafting engaging narratives through video editing, ensuring that the final product captivates viewers and retains their attention. The editor will work with provided footage and is expected to have a strong understanding of storytelling, color correction, audio editing, and text integration.
Responsibilities
- Edit basketball video footage to create engaging and captivating content.
- Perform color correction on video footage to enhance visual quality.
- Add text to videos as needed, ensuring correct grammar and style.
- Edit audio tracks, including EQ, De-Essing, Compressing, and mixing at proper levels.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the final product meets expectations and retains viewer interest.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio.
- Ability to tell a compelling story through video editing.
- Proficiency in color correction techniques.
- Experience with audio editing and mixing.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in grammar and text presentation.
