About the position

The Ambulatory Housekeeper at Xanitos is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in ambulatory facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks across different areas of the facility, contributing to the overall quality of care provided in medical settings.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Requirements

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Experience in medical cleaning is a plus.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required.
• Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
