About the position
The Ambulatory Trainer at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional plays a crucial role in the Information Services department by providing initial and ongoing training and support for various applications, including MyChart, MyChart Bedside, and Hello World. This position is integral to the department's digital strategy, ensuring that end users are well-equipped to utilize these applications effectively. The trainer will be responsible for delivering on-site elbow support and go-live assistance, acting as a resource for users to enhance their understanding and usage of the systems. In this role, the trainer will engage with healthcare professionals to facilitate their learning and adaptation to new technologies, thereby improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided by TidalHealth. The position requires a blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive learning environment. The trainer will also be expected to stay updated on the latest developments in the applications and provide feedback to the Information Services team to enhance training materials and methods. Responsibilities
- Provide initial and ongoing training for applications such as MyChart, MyChart Bedside, and Hello World.
- Deliver on-site elbow support and go-live assistance for end users.
- Act as a resource for end users to enhance their understanding of applications.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the applications and provide feedback to the Information Services team.
- Facilitate learning and adaptation to new technologies among healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Epic Credentialed Trainer or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
- 3 years of experience with an electronic medical record required; Epic preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required.
- Previous experience in training, instruction or adult learning is a plus.
