About the position

The AMER Sales Operations Manager at Splunk is a strategic and analytical role focused on supporting the Enterprise Segment. This position involves collaborating with various departments to enable sales leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions. The manager will oversee sales planning, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of Go To Market (GTM) strategy.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Inspire change management within the organization.
  • Design the plan for the next financial year regarding quotas and account assignments.
  • Develop operational cadence for the sales division and ensure consistent execution.
  • Build reporting dashboards and drive analysis to enhance performance access for business owners.
  • Analyze business health and interpret key performance metrics.
  • Craft action plans to address weaknesses and opportunities.
  • Present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making and operational changes.
  • Support day-to-day business needs of the sales organization, including forecasting and pipeline analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a functional field sales operations role supporting large sales organizations.
  • Ability to gather and use data to advise decision-making and persuade others.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex content effectively.
  • Proven track record of partnering with sales teams to achieve business outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Self-motivated and productive with minimal oversight from senior management.
  • Experience with Enterprise applications such as Salesforce.com, Tableau, Clari, and Anaplan.
  • Experience in driving and leading change across organizations.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a business or technical field.
