TransPerfect Connect (TPC) is seeking American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters at all levels who possess demonstrated experience in utilizing their bilingual skills in a professional setting. This position is not just a job; it is a career path that allows individuals to make a significant difference in the lives of others. As an ASL Interpreter, you will be trained to become an Over Phone Interpreter, where you will use your language abilities to assist clients in various situations, such as helping patients communicate with their healthcare providers or aiding families in securing loans. The role requires a commitment to delivering superior consecutive interpretations and being an advocate for our end clients. Candidates must be fluent in ASL and have a passion for helping others through effective communication. The training program provided by TransPerfect includes four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer, focusing on interpretation and listening skills, as well as industry-specific terms and protocols. After completing the training, interpreters will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service practices, communicate information clearly and accurately, and adhere to work requirements.
