About the position

The Americas President for Data Center Solutions (DCS) is a senior executive role responsible for supporting the Group President in strategy, operations, and business performance. This position focuses on driving growth, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and fostering a culture of operational excellence within the organization. The role involves collaboration with various business leaders to achieve financial targets and enhance customer satisfaction while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first line support to the Group President, focusing on strategy, operations, and business performance.
  • Act as the executive leader for DCS Americas, ensuring the delivery of growth, customer, people, and financial targets.
  • Support the D, E & I agenda across the business.
  • Provide strategic insight and guidance to MDs and Functional Leaders, driving operational excellence and managing risk.
  • Grow and cultivate CBRE's product base, culture, and behaviors to positively contribute to GWS's growth and financial performance.
  • Lead company and statutory Health, Safety, and Quality compliance and standards.
  • Collaborate with other business leaders to ensure alignment with CBRE GWS business and achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Assist in developing strong leaders capable of executing the DCS strategy.
  • Support profitable growth of DCS through participation in new business pursuits.
  • Lead the transition of key strategic projects affecting the wider CBRE business.
  • Minimize business interruptions and increase overall DCS account performance through best practices and processes.
  • Drive business improvements, innovation, and ensure good governance.

Requirements

  • Higher educational qualifications to A level or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 10 years of industry or relevant business leadership experience.
  • Significant experience at senior management or executive level in a matrix organization.
  • Proven sales/business development experience from a related industry.
  • Experience of operating at Board or Executive level.
