About the position

The Supply Demand Execution (SDE) or Supply Demand Management (SDM) Manager at Apple is a dynamic leadership role responsible for ensuring operational and financial success within the organization. This position involves developing and leading a team that creates, communicates, and executes plans across various distribution channels for Apple's product lines. The manager will collaborate with global partners, drive improvements, and present strategies to senior leadership, all while maintaining a commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure commitments to customers are met through analysis, reporting, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Build and develop a collaborative team that drives improvements and presents to senior leadership.
  • Support internal partner requests and escalations, developing guidelines to enhance processes.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly plans aligned with Apple's financial objectives.
  • Evaluate risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Work within enterprise systems to ensure flawless planning and execution of customer demand across all sales channels.
  • Collaborate with global partners on best practices and key process improvements.
  • Manage staffing and onboarding activities to support team vision and peak periods.
  • Mentor and guide team members to help them realize their full potential.
  • Drive strategic solutions and influence leaders on complex problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading execution in operations, supply chain, finance, procurement, or consulting.
  • High degree of analytics with the ability to summarize and drive solutions based on data and logic.
  • Experience in recruiting, retaining, and mentoring individual contributors as direct reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability in continuous innovation with attention to detail.
  • Excellent forward-thinking capabilities, able to identify risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Proven experience working optimally in a matrixed and global organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a relevant field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing procurement, execution, supply/demand forecast, and product movement across multiple countries.
  • Ability to develop complex statistical/forecast models to drive business decisions.
  • Experience presenting and influencing product line business plans to senior executive leadership.
  • Skills in evaluating supply chain risks and implementing contingency plans.
  • Experience managing Collaboration, Planning, Execution, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) with Fortune 100 partners.
  • Ability to drive long-term strategic initiatives shaping Apple's supply chain and omnichannel roadmap.
  • Experience in planning and executing New Product Introduction operational activities.
  • Skills in identifying process improvement opportunities and driving solutions.
  • Experience in supply allocation and distribution of large product volumes across channels.
