About the position

The position is for a California ACSW or AMFT to facilitate mental health therapeutic groups and provide individual therapy within a Crisis Residential Mental Health Treatment Program in Sylmar, California. This is a long-term, full-time role focused on delivering high-quality mental health care to clients in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions for clients.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual therapy to a caseload of clients.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Create treatment plans and participate in treatment plan reviews.

Requirements

• Valid AMFT or ACSW license in California.
• Completed Master's Degree and Associate's number from the BBS.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised experience in mental health.
• Experience working with mental health.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with trauma and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
• Experience with DMH documentation.
