About the position

The AMPCC Project Engineer will be responsible for managing multiple projects and hardware at the RTX Additive Manufacturing Process and Capability Center. This role involves coordinating tasks, maintaining schedules, and ensuring deliverables are met on time while working with various customers to develop Additive Manufacturing processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain prototype fabrication schedules including machine usage and post processing.
• Analyze data from builds to ensure compliance with requirements and support root cause investigations or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Issue reports to customers on the status of builds as required.
• Evaluate, develop, or enhance tools to track jobs and parts.
• Perform packaging, manage shipping, and tracking of hardware among various internal departments and external vendors.

Requirements

• Experience in project management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Additive Manufacturing processes and tools.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage schedules effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with in-house and commercial software packages related to manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of heat treatment and machining processes.
