About the position

The Amusement Supervisor at Round One Entertainment is responsible for supporting the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in overseeing the Amusement Department. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing department employees, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The supervisor will actively engage with customers and staff on the floor, aiming to achieve departmental sales goals and maintain a fun and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in supervising the Amusement Department.
  • Provide personal sales support and troubleshoot issues in the amusement department, spending at least 90% of time on the floor.
  • Control payout ratios of crane operations by monitoring pay out numbers and customer interactions.
  • Conduct tills checks, refunds, credit, and ticket adjustments according to company policy.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for the department.
  • Complete amusement-related reports assigned by the Amusement Manager and corporate office.
  • Assist in planning and preparing work schedules and assignments for employees.
  • Monitor store inventory levels daily to ensure product availability.
  • Supervise department employees to ensure compliance with operational practices and policies.
  • Ensure employees adhere to established security, sales, and safety procedures.
  • Assist in training all store amusement employees.
  • Attend all department and store meetings as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in inventory management and cash handling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in guest services.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
