About the position

The Analysis & Architecture Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the development of complex systems, focusing on system architecture, algorithm design, and implementation support. This position involves leading teams through various stages of development, from proposal to ongoing system support, with a strong emphasis on Electronic Warfare and Communication systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of system architectures for complex systems.
  • Oversee teams dedicated to algorithm design, analysis, simulation, and implementation support.
  • Engage in requirement definition, coding, simulation, synthesis, placement, routing, verification testing, and ongoing system support.
  • Utilize MATLAB or equivalent tools for algorithm development and documentation.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and management.
  • Support proposal development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 14+ years of experience, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 12+ years of experience, or PhD with 10+ years of experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems architecture and analysis, and/or Communication systems architecture and analysis.
  • Leadership in system architecture, algorithm design, analysis, simulation, and implementation support for complex designs.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent analytical tools for algorithm development and simulation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with High-rate Communication Systems, Satellite Communication Systems, Spread Spectrum Systems, LPD/AJ Systems, Non-linear signal processing, MIMO, Phased Array Processing.
  • Proficiency in VHDL (preferred) or Verilog development languages.
  • Experience in implementing complex modem and/or DSP circuits in SW or programmable logic using FPGA devices.
  • Familiarity with simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado / ISE, and/or Altera Quartus.
