About the position

The position involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, trends, and opportunities within Comcast. The role requires maintaining journals and ledgers, preparing financial statements, conducting financial studies, and coordinating financial projects with moderate guidance. The individual will be responsible for evaluating opportunities and making recommendations regarding project progress and future business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Approves transactions and evaluates opportunities.
• Makes recommendations regarding project progress and future business opportunities.
• Analyzes and tracks key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.
• Performs analysis of financial statement accounts and specific projects as directed.
• Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Participates in the preparation of month and year-end processes by reviewing actual vs. budget/forecast variances.
• Reviews financial trends and makes recommendations for accruals.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Works nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of relative work experience.
• Strong analytical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Excel functions.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to analyze financial trends.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivation.
