About the position
As an Analyst 3 in Finance & Accounting at Comcast, you will support the MDU Finance and Operations team, focusing on the Communities Sales channel. This role involves month-end close processes, forecasting, budgeting, and comprehensive reporting on financial metrics. The ideal candidate will utilize data analysis and financial modeling to provide insights that drive business performance and support the Sales team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine financial forecasts and budgets for the Gated Communities segment.
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams to gather input and validate budget assumptions.
- Utilize historical data and market trends to inform forecasting assumptions and budgeting strategies.
- Present findings and actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Generate detailed reports on revenue, expenses, and subscriber metrics, analyzing trends and variances.
- Maintain ROI modeling to vet the financial viability of customer deals.
- Prepare financial models to evaluate potential business scenarios and strategies.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Attend work regularly and punctually, including nights and weekends as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
