About the position

The Analyst 3 position at E. & J. Gallo focuses on enhancing the company's internal consumer research capabilities. The role involves managing research projects from scoping to execution, ensuring efficient processes, and translating data into actionable insights to support marketing and communication strategies. The analyst will work with various research methodologies and collaborate with teams to present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop internal research execution capabilities for cost and speed efficiencies.
  • Provide end-to-end project management support for research projects, including survey design and data interpretation.
  • Program online surveys and ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Monitor fielding progress and conduct quality checks on data.
  • Translate data into insights and implications through compelling reports.
  • Adapt research presentations for various audiences, including company leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets independently.
  • Capture and catalog research results to develop internal norms across methodologies.
  • Conduct meta-analysis to develop best practices in creative design.
  • Extract insights from primary research initiatives and present opportunities to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree plus 2 years of marketing research or data analysis experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience; OR High school diploma plus 8 years of experience in marketing research or data analysis.
  • Direct experience with DIY research platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Zappi).
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt information for different audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree plus 4 years of marketing research or data analysis experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience.
  • Experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry or with a CPG company.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information to leadership and public groups.
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis Software (R, SAS, SPSS).
  • Experience with interpreting syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen).
