About the position

The Analyst 3 - Research Capabilities role at Gallo focuses on enhancing the company's internal consumer research capabilities. This position involves managing research projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficient execution, and translating data into actionable insights to support marketing and communication strategies. The analyst will work collaboratively with various teams to develop best practices and present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop internal research execution capabilities for cost and speed efficiencies.
  • Provide end-to-end project management support for research projects, including survey design and data interpretation.
  • Program online surveys and ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Monitor fielding progress and consumer quotas, conducting quality checks on data.
  • Translate data into insights through compelling visual reports and presentations.
  • Adapt research presentations for various audiences, including company leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets independently.
  • Capture and catalog research results, developing internal norms across methodologies.
  • Conduct meta-analysis to develop best practices in creative design.
  • Extract insights from primary research initiatives and present opportunities to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree plus 2 years of marketing research or data analysis experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience; OR High school diploma plus 8 years of experience in marketing research or data analysis.
  • Direct experience with DIY research platforms (e.g., Zappi, Toluna, Qualtrics).
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Collaborative work style with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience extracting actionable insights from large data sets.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree plus 4 years of marketing research or data analysis experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience.
  • Experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry or with a CPG company.
  • Skilled in presenting information to leadership and public groups.
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis Software (R, SAS, SPSS).
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills in a multi-functional environment.
  • Experience using and interpreting syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen).
