Analyst | Access Control Specialist

About the position

Verisk Access Control Specialist is a member of the Global Protection Services Team in the Enterprise Risk Management group. Position is onsite (3-5 days per week) and based in the Jersey City, NJ global headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Deploy physical security systems, such as CCure 9000 (including the Visitor Management System) and exacqVision or similar technology.
• Work as a team to coordinate security system assessment, design, engineering, planning, procurement, and implementation.
• Work with Integrators during system installation to setup and configure CCure 9000 and exacqVision systems. Inspect installations to ensure systems meet statement of work specifications.
• Analyze and diagnose system malfunctions and perform hardware & software troubleshooting. Troubleshooting will be both onsite and remote.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and continuous improvement.
• Monitor access logs, generate reports, and conduct security audits to ensure system integrity.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, as well as industry and legal standards.
• Facilitate the download and installation of CCure and exacqVision software on user devices and conduct system familiarization training.
• Completes all responsibilities as outlined on the annual Performance Plan.
• Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience with CCure 9000 and exacqVision required. 3-5 years of experience is strongly preferred.
• Expertise with Software House hardware and software.
• Possess a high level of technical knowledge in software, electrical & mechanical disciplines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking, both analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel, ServiceNow & Oracle.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• CCure 9000 Operator/Manager and exacqVision certifications are strongly preferred.
• CCure 9000 System Installer/Maintainer and Advanced Integrator certifications are preferred.
