About the position

The Applications Analyst II plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing systems functionality within the Information Services department. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to interpret documentation related to system applications, upgrades, and enhancements. The analyst will work both independently and collaboratively in a customer-focused environment, leading project phases and instructing users on workflows.

Responsibilities

• Understand systems functionality and departmental processes related to supported applications.
• Interpret and distribute documentation regarding system functionality, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering system limitations.
• Lead multiple phases of projects as required.
• Instruct system users on workflows.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in application support or application training required; three years of experience with analysis, content building, and project management preferred.
• EPIC certification required within 6 months of hire if supporting an Epic application; periodic re-certification required every 3-5 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical certification(s) preferred.
• Experience in a high production environment.
