About the position

The Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology Equity Research team at Bank of America focuses on analyzing both large and small biopharmaceutical companies across various disease areas. The new hire will collaborate closely with the lead analyst, who is highly ranked in Institutional Investor polls, and participate in all aspects of the research process, including data analysis, financial modeling, and industry reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze different data streams
• Build financial models to forecast sales for key pharmaceutical products and company earnings
• Write industry and company reports
• Develop doctor/patient surveys and conduct interviews with industry stakeholders
• Build relationships and facilitate information flow with industry contacts
• Monitor news flow and highlight stock-impacting updates to the team
• Interact with sales, trading, and external clients

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or related fields
• Bachelor's Degree with a science-focused major
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong writing abilities
• Basic financial modeling skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
